Today we are going to start series of reviews of the various bikes models, presented now at dealers shops - to help you choose the one that will suit you best. And we will start from one of Suzuki's models - Suzuki GSX-R600. Let's take a look what this motorbike is and does it worth buying in year 2018.
Modern Suzuki GSX-R600's main features are: four-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled engine, delivering 126 hp. and 67 Nm of torque; sports, fully adjustable suspension; engine traction control system, slip clutch, aluminum frame and powerful 4-piston radial Brembo brakes.

Brief model history
1992 - the beginning of Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle production. Based on the engine from the Suzuki GSX-R750. During this period, the motorcycle produces a power of 98 hp.
1997 - the first major model update. The motorcycle receives a new engine, a modified plastic design and the Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) inertial boost system. Engine power is increased to 114 hp, and the curb weight is reduced by 35 kg.
2001 - the second major model change. The GSX-R600 motorcycle gets a new look, an injector, a modified engine and becomes 8 kg lighter. Engine power is increased to 123 hp.
2004 - the third major model update. The motorcycle undergoes another restyling, receives a fully adjustable inverted fork, radial brakes and a new rear suspension. In addition, the Suzuki GSX-R600 was equipped with a 32-bit control unit and titanium valves. The engine settings and the compression ratio are changed. The maximum power is 119 hp.
2006 - the next motorcycle update. The Suzuki GSX-R600 gets a completely new engine, slipping clutch, a new design of the exhaust system.
2008 - the motorcycle is equipped with the engine thrust control system - Suzuki Drive Mode Selector and a new subframe. The design of plastic and fuel tank have changed.
2011 - the motorcycle gets 4 kg lighter, gets a new front Showa fork and front sports calipers Brembo. The design of the dashboard has changed.

But all this is just common info, what about real feeling when you are taking the ride on GSX-R600?
Test ride
Motorbike runs perfectly! Sitting on it is very comofrtable, although I'm not small. On the first day - 200 miles with a few stops to drink just did not notice how it was night already and bike was almost out of fuel.
I decided to try everything that it can show me and started to gain speed. Somewhere up to 9000 rpm. In a few seconds I was moving 230 km/h on it, but I could not continue to accelerate, traffic had started and I had to stop. Brakes - smooth, very good. Wind protection is normal, in the rain it wets feet, shoulders, head and hands. Turns pass clearly as if this is a super exact model match for me - my body continuation!
Summing up - incredible, beautiful in design and work sports motorcycle. A good motorbike for aggressive driving on good roads, I consider it reliable, but I do not recommend it for beginners, I think it will not be very forgiving for mistakes.
